East Coast Dealer Standard:
Combination fuel and hydraulic tank on Western Star Lowmax/ Cottrell Combination
To a carhauler space = money. The less weight and more flexibility you can have on your trailer, the more you will probably make. East Coast Truck and Trailer was the first Cottrell dealer to use this specification on a Western Star Lowmax/ Cottrell Trailer. By combining the hydraulic tank and the fuel tank your Cottrell is 100 pounds lighter and you have 2 more inches of flexibility in the third position. This could be the difference between being able to load a more profitable vehicle or making sure your trailer is not overweight on the road.
The hydraulic tank can restrict the ramps in the 3rd position
If you remove the hydraulic tank you have 2 to 3 more inches of flexibility in
the third position
East Coast Truck and Trailer will
combine hydraulic tank with the fuel tank on our Western Star Lowmax to reduce the trucks weight by 100 lbs
combine hydraulic tank with the fuel tank on our Western Star Lowmax to reduce the trucks weight by 100 lbs
This is an often overlooked feature when specifying a Cottrell Trailer. Cutting down on size or weight can really make a difference
